Official Technical Visit to GNL Quintero
As part of the 6th INTERNATIONAL GNL GLOBAL FORUM 2026, delegates will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in an official technical visit to the GNL Quintero Terminal on October 21, 2026.
Located in Quintero Bay, Chile, GNL Quintero was the first onshore terminal in the Southern Hemisphere developed for the reception, unloading, storage and regasification of liquefied natural gas. Since beginning operations in 2009, the terminal has played a fundamental role in supplying natural gas to central and southern Chile, contributing decisively to the country’s energy security, diversification and resilience.
More than a site visit, this experience reflects one of the central objectives of the International GNL GLOBAL Forum: to connect industry leaders with the infrastructure, technologies and companies that are shaping the development of the LNG sector across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Participation in the technical visit will be exclusive to registered Forum delegates, with limited capacity and subject to GNL Quintero’s operational, safety and access protocols.
